About Todd

Todd Whitthorne Health Speaker

Todd Whitthorne is much more than a health speaker. He currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Cooper Concepts, Inc, a division of Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas. It is here where he has been able to expand his already vast knowledge of health and wellness and thus be able to further enrich his audiences at his health and wellness presentations.

Todd also serves as chairman of the Our Kids’ Health Foundation, a nonprofit which serves as an organization to help reduce inactivity and obesity among children in Texas. Mr. Whitthorne is also a member of the International Association for Worksite Health Promotion (IAWHP), the American College of Sports Medicine, in addition to serving on the Board of Directors for the Dallas GET A MOVE ON campaign. For over eight years, Todd has been working side by side with Dr. Ken Cooper as the executive producer and host of Healthy Living with Dr. Ken Cooper, a nationally syndicated weekly radio program heard in over 42 cities across the United States as well as online.

After receiving a bachelors of science in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise health from UCLA, Todd jumped feet first into a broadcasting career that took him from Washington D.C. to Phoenix and Dallas. He won multiple awards including an Emmy and a Katie as co-host of “Good Morning Texas” on WFAA-TV, a Dallas, TX ABC affiliate. Todd still stays involved in television, and since 2005 has served as the television host for the Dallas White Rock Marathon and the Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot.

Health & Wellness Speaker

A frequent and seasoned health and wellness speaker, Todd regularly speaks to corporate groups of varying sizes, schools, non-profits, and other organizations, on a wide variety of health and wellness related topics.  As a health speaker, Todd has a number of health keynote presentations including: “Your Health, Your Responsibility;” “The ABC’s of Nutritional Supplements;”  “Health Living: The Links to Personal and Professional Success;” “Fitness for Life;” and other presentations such as how corporate wellness can pay big dividends and how audience participants can “Build a Better Brain” through proper nutrition and exercise.

On a personal level, Todd enjoys most outdoor activities including running in multiple marathons, half-marathons, and sprint triathlons. He currently lives in Coppell, Texas with his wife, Kathy. They have two grown children; Lauren and Andrew, both of whom live in Texas.
